Born in Nachikatsuura, Wakayama Prefecture in 1966

Surrounded by the sea and mountains, it grows up in nature with the Kumano Kodo and Nachi Falls and cultivates the foundation of sensibility.

 

Studied at the age of 24 and went to Paris at the same time as becoming independent ...

Having brought his work to Paris VOGUE, he held a solo exhibition in the Male and Opera districts in Paris.

Received high praise, such as receiving a voice from.

 

After returning to Japan, he also worked on advertisements, mainly on the cover of magazines.

In particular, live portraits that specialize in facial expressions and dynamism that are rarely seen by celebrities, talents, and models have a great impact in the industry.

He also shoots many portraits of butoh dancers and ballet dancers.

 

After studying psychology from 2007 to 2008 and having 12 years of experience as a clinical psychology counselor, he developed the concept of portrait photography using his expertise and skills in photography and psychology. STROKE ".

Following that trend, "Edge of Life", which began with the introduction of a doctor in 2017, is aimed at people who are living while facing the life here, such as those with a short life expectancy, those with cancer or illness. The purpose of this portrait is to depict the existence of the subject itself (existence recognition / STROKE) and to express a message to important people including the subject himself (existence recognition / STROKE).
